About Jaxon Keys Winery & Distillery

Jaxon Keys Winery is steeped in winemaking history, with roots dating back to 1858 when a Scottish immigrant, John McGlashen, established the property.

When owners Ken and Diane Wilson purchased the property in 2009, their goal was to reestablish the land, buildings and winery to its rightful place in Mendocino’s wine country.

The Jaxon Keys estate encompasses 1250 beautiful acres. 125 acres are planted to vineyards, with the remaining acreage left undeveloped as it was when John McGlashen purchased it in 1858.

Jaxon Keys is located off Highway 101, north of Sonoma County’s Cloverdale and north of the quaint little town of Hopland in Mendocino County. There are more than a dozen wineries around the Hopland region, plus we are just over the hill from the Anderson Valley wineries. We are approximately one hour from the ruggedly beautiful Mendocino Coast and about two hours from the Golden Gate Bridge.

A restored farmhouse serves as our tasting room, with a wrap-around porch that offers visitors a lovely vista as they sip our wines. We hope you’ll venture to Mendocino and our corner of the world to discover the “America’s Greenest Wine Region” for yourself.
